Updates...

Hi Everyone~
Sorry I have been too busy working and playing Guitar Hero to blog much lately. LOL! Things have been going ok at Bobe's this month. I think we are about ready to go to "winter hours" and that will be nice.
I have gotten to see Hayley, Heidi, Erica, and Jonny K all in the last month... Yea! I miss you all! And I think that most of them want to come home and work a little over the break. At least I am hoping so!
We still haven't gotten our new menu additions up and going, but hopefully when we start serving soup we can start the rest of our new stuff.
Looking forward to a nice cool fall! It's about time the kitchen got under 100 degrees!

A nice surprise...

Well, once again it is Friday night after a fun evening of working with an awesome crew. I have had all sorts of good surpises in the last couple of days. First, Hayley came home from school... I had no idea she was going to be around all weekend! Miss you girl, so glad you are home! Then tonight Jonny K worked (and brought me an awesome Bradley sweatshirt) even though he had a little (or not so little) goose egg on his head. Then Erica came in also... it was a good night. I was hoping Heidi was going to show up too, but no such luck. Erica says it will be a little while longer before we get to see Heidi again. My final surprise was at the end of the night when Nate came in to say hi! What a great night! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Until next time...

Lots of Changes

Well, there sure have been a lot of changes around Bobe's this past week. Kinda crazy around there...
Brandy got a full time job as a CNA at Burgin Manor, so her last day was this past Friday. Then Rachel decided she is going back to school and was ready for a change and so her last day was Friday also. We did hire a new lunch waitress, her name is Danielle. She seems nice and I think she will work out great.
We are getting ready to start some new items on the menu. Soup again, of course, and carmel apple dessert pizza, cinnamon bread, and whatever else I can talk Brett and Brad into... Hee hee!
Sorry I haven't been keeping up on my blog. I promise to do better!

STYX

Well, Wink and I went to see STYX this past Thursday night in Effingham. It was a good concert... you all do know who STYX is right??? If not, look 'em up. You will probably know some of their music.
Last night (Friday) was busy, but we had a good surprise, Jonny K came home again. Bobe's is addictive... more so for some than others (we all know how addicted I am.)
Everything else is going pretty well around the pizza. Our remodel is almost complete. Yea!!! Can't wait for it to be finished.

Labor Day Weekend

Well all, I had been feeling sad this week, but tonight at Bobe's was great! First off, Jonny K came back and worked tonight! Yea! Then Erica stopped in for a visit and to surprise Bin. Then Heidi came in and stayed around to chat as well. Plus Dylan was in all night... It was great! (3 out of 4 ain't bad... Missed ya' Hayley!)

It sounds like everyone is liking school so far and meeting some new people. Oh to be back in college... well, without the tests of course, and the homework...

Hope everyone can keep coming home for visits. Hayley, I plan to come see you. I want to check out their speech path program to make sure you are in good hands ;) Hee hee! And maybe do a little shopping too.

well it's Tuesday evening.. and the first night I haven't gone out since I came into town. Classes started yesterday and I have a class every day at 8 o'clock. So I'm pretty much beat! I love my roomate and I can deal with my classes. There are so many great people here! I would love for there to be as many cute guys as there are girls though.. it's quite a bummer! lol I had my first communicative disorders class tonight. It meets once a week and after just one lecture, I know that this is what I want to do. It's perfect! I'm done studying for the night so I think I will go relax... Hope you all are having a great time at Bobe's. I miss you much and will let you all know when I'm back in town!

Tuesday Night

Hi all!
Going back to school all day and then Bobe's at night can be tough on a girl. LOL I am tired...
I have heard that everyone is doing fairly well away from home. Hayley posted a comment on the last blog you all should check it out. I think you all can post on the wall and not just comment if I enter your email address in to be an "author." We will give it a try. Then everyone can see what is posted and not have to go to the comments. Hope everyone has a good week!

End of an Era

It's Friday night and I just got home from Bobe's. Wow were we busy tonight! Crazy busy... Jonny K came in to say good bye to Paige and Taylor (and I suppose the rest of us too) one last time. Erica and Heidi both left in the last day too. Tough times at Olney Bobe's Pizza. However, once again, the new kids stepped up to the plate and with a little (well a lot) of help from Dylan & Bin, Zack and I managed to get most everything right this evening. And even though this was just Andrea's second night back, with Rach and Anna waitressing, we did well I'd say. I'm too tired to write anything else tonight. Good luck to all of you at school this year. We miss you!

New Kids on the Block

Well, we are half way through our first week of several new employees. Last night (Tuesday night) was so busy, but all the new kids did well. What I wouldn't have given for a drop in visit (of like 2 hours) from any of my former employees to have rolled out pizzas or answered the phone... But overall the night was good.
Also, the new remodel is just about done. There are a few more exciting things that will be happening in the near future. I will do my best to keep you posted!
If you all don't know, Hayley was the first to leave for school. She left yesterday around 3. We wish you the best Hay!

Saturday night

So its Saturday night and I just got home from Bobe's a little while ago. Jonny K's last night was tonight. He was the last of my kids to leave. Hayley, Heidi and Erica all came in tonight though. Brett grilled steaks for everyone... what a great boss! :) Hope you read this Brett!

I am calling it Bobestopia because Bobes is just like a Utopia... an ideal and perfect place or state where everyone lives in harmony and everything is for the best. Ok, well maybe not quite, but I thought it was a great name for our Blog.
Since some of my "kids" are leaving for school, I thought this would be a great way to keep up on whats going on in everyone's lives.
